Fall is here, and with the weather starting to slowly cool down, Bistrot is turning to some fall french classics to help warm your soul. “Soupe de Potiron”, our silky smooth roasted squash soup with bacon and “Flammekeuche”, an Alsatian classic flatbread with bacon and onions, are now part of our fall offerings. My personal favorite, a delicious “Salade Lyonnaise” fashioned after the one that I ate at “Aux Trois Maries” in Lyon, makes for the perfect start of a meal. Some great fall entrees have returned to our menu, like our duck breast with foie gras sauce and currants, and the always popular “Poulet à la Crème”, White wine-braised chicken with a creamy morel mushroom sauce. New to the menu, and one of our favorites, is the “Aile de Raie au Beurre Blanc aux Câpres”, a succulent Pan-roasted skate wing with wild chanterelle mushrooms and crushed pistachios. If you have not had skate wing before, this dish is a must try. Stop by for a glass of wine, and stay for some delicious fall dishes.
