Dinner in Bordeaux 5/29 and 5/30
A few weeks after I arrived in France, a college friend gave me the remnants of his Eurail train pass before heading back to the states. I took the remaining time on the pass and got on a train to Bordeaux. In Bordeaux I visited St Emillion and trudged through the city center. One of the excursions’ highlights was going to an all cheese restaurant where one of the courses was a trip to the cheese cave with over 300 varieties to taste! At the end of the month, we are taking a trip back to Bordeaux celebrating the cuisine of this massive wine region.
