Bistrot La Minette is Eleven!

Wednesday, August 28th & Thursday, August 29th Five courses, $45; Wine paring, $25

Eleven years have gone by in what seems like a flash. It seems like only yesterday I was drinking a bottle of wine with my wife, Peggy, while we hung her photos on the wall. Our infant son was passed out in his pack-and-play, among the brand new chairs and table bases, oblivious to the hammering and drilling. This year he is at sleep-away camp! To celebrate our 11th birthday, as we have traditionally done, we are giving back to our patrons by serving a delectable five-course menu, paired with five outstanding wines, at the lowest price we can.

1st Course

Purée Saint-Germain : Pea soup, chanterelle mushrooms, bacon lardons

Comte de Bucques Chardonnay/Pinot Blanc, Alsace

2nd Course

Choice of:
Salade de Chèvre Chaud : Mixed Greens, warm goat cheese toast


Tartare de Saumon aux Lentilles Vertes de Puy : Salmon tartare, Puy lentils,
blood orange vinaigrette

Œuf en Meurette : Red wine-poached egg, mushrooms, bacon lardons, pearl onions
